Frank Marshalek was born on June 16, 1884 in Austria to parents Joe and Eva. It is uncertain when he came o the United States. Emily Irma Birczak was born to Andy and Anna Bircsak in Czechoslavakia on February 13, 1888. Irma arrived in New York City, Ellis Island, on September 9, 1910. Frank and Irma were married on November 25, 1912 in Yukon, PA at the Church of the Seven Dolars. They eventually came to Scenery Hill, PA and he and Irma raised a family of 10 children.
